Genome, Phenome, Environment, and Evolution of Land Plants Qiu, Yin-Long [1]. Genome, Phenome, Environment, and Evolution of Land Plants - Introduction. Recent advances in genomics, phylogenetics, developmental biology, and paleontology has provided a fresh opportunity to launch a new wave of studies on the questions related to the origin and evolution of land plants from a broad synthetic perspective. In this symposium, a slate of speakers with specialties that bridge genomics and phenomics (physiology, morphology, ecology, and paleontology) will present new and exciting results that are likely to bring our understanding of land plant evolution to a new level.
