Conference Wide Jones, Timothy M. [1]. Sedge identification with interactive keys. Participants will be given the opportunity to develop skill in the identification of the following sedges, Carex, Rhynchospora, Scleria, and Cyperus. Presentations of character glossaries, species pages, computer-based keys, and use of traditional keys will be demonstrated.
Laptops with wireless are required. If using older computers please have at least Java ver 1.4.2 installed. Attendees are encouraged to bring problematic specimens for identification.
For general workshop use, specimens will be provided.
